Another great video - nicely done!  Fabulous scenery.
In answer to your question in the post’s title - in my case, it is about twenty-seven years since I last rode a motorcycle. I love seeing and reading about other folk’s adventures though.

That makes you a true enthusiast BJ. That's a long time to not ride. Me thinks I would go stir crazy... it's one of my few relief valves these days...

Hi Folks,
Here's a video I put together from a little exploring I did along the Deschutes River yesterday.
During a previoius trip we made it as far as Round Butte dam. This time, with a little help from Google Earth, we made it past Pelton dam and turned around when we hit Hwy26, the main highway to Portland.
The road down to Lake Simtustus is steep, perhaps 10%, and the curves are just grins.
We rode 130 miles with my 1100 Spectre getting 52 MPG. Please forgive me if you find me two jugs short.

I should know, but don't - what's the snow capped mountain? Is that Raineer? I didn't recognize any of the scenery. Guess I need more up north time..

Also - the gas cap looks like it would fit a KZ1300?

Hi Don,
That's Mt. Jefferson although there are seven Cascdes bordering Central Oregon.
That gas tank is my Spectre's weakest piece, but then it doesn't leak.
