I was recently disappointed to find that my toothed roller shows quite a bit of wear. The engine has 22,000 miles on it. I just did a valve adjustment. Looks like I'll be looking for a head gasket soon.

You would have thought that this cam chain idler gear would last longer than 20,000 miles, wouldn't you?

By the way, Bill, the clutch cover on your Voyager engine does not look original. As far as I can see, It is of the same design as the KZ model, rather than the ZN/ZG fuel injected engine.

Wow Jim, you've a good eye. I've replaced the voyager clutch with a KZ clutch. Which has additional clutch disks. The original Voyager clutch was slipping under full acceleration. IIRC Ma Kaw reduced the number of clutch disks to allow more foot room on the right.
