You got me on this one Globemaster. I had to go into the parts manual to remind myself of what I removed from my B2 touring model in order to change it over to an A2 sport model. The B2 has 2 seats and once I saw the 2 seats I remembered just how Fugly they were.

In order to changeover the configuration, I had to remove the tailpiece brackets and move them forward about 50mm in order to fit the tailpiece to an A2 seat. Not a big deal. Just a PITA.

That King/Queen seat doesn't show up in the parts manual, so I'm not sure how it was offered up to a buyer. That would be an interesting fact to know which would lead to another question - What else was offered as optional??

You got me too!  You reminded me that one of my lingering projects is installing an A1 or A2 seat on my B2.
I once purchased an A1 with the dealer installed touring package and the King and Queen seat.  All of the touring package parts (fairing, brackets, saddle bags, king and queen seat, etc.) could be purchased individually from the dealer.

my guess: aftermarket seat, probably offered when Vetter fairings were coming up. It is not from the B2 and not from the Grand Touring.
Saw it in the old Vetter advertisments.
Not my taste, but it makes a better impression when combined with the peanut/ round fuel tank.
